Sulphuric Acid 90% is used in BS 696 part 2, method for the determination of fat content of milk and milk products (Gerber method). Sulphuric Acid 90% is a regulated explosives precursor (The control of poisons and explosives precursors regulations 2023) and a drug precursor class 3 (The law enforcement and security (amendment) (EU Exit) regulations 2019 No. 742).
