Vickers for Charity

As a business, it is our privilege to contribute towards local and national charitable causes, and support individuals.

Our team volunteer their time, money and resources to help others, and their actions reflect strong personal values and principles.

Vickers are proud to have worked on numerous charitable campaigns and our passionate staff are always up for a challenge. From abseils to bake sales, we are constantly devising ideas for fundraising events and raising awareness for good causes.

We’re thrilled to have raised money for hospices, taken part in the Macmillan Cancer Coffee Morning, and fund-raised for charities such as Mind, The Samaritans and The Woodland Trust. We’ve also supported Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children and Denim for Dementia. All money raised has been matched by the company.

Our teams also love a physical challenge and have participated in a range of money-raising walks, runs and bike rides, including the Manchester Marathon and Dewsbury 10K, Settle to Leeds bike ride, Tough Mudder Yorkshire and the Three Peaks Challenge.

We actively support The Howarth Foundation who do valuable work with third sector street-based organisations, to find employment opportunities. We participate in a range of their fundraising events, including their charity dinner, music extravaganza, sponsored runs and sporting events.
