Vickers Best Bits 2017

With Christmas around the corner, the Vickers team have taken a moment to reflect on a busy year. The business has expanded in a number of exciting ways throughout 2017 a few highlights of which we would like to share with you. Thank you to all our employees, customers, partners and suppliers for your continued support throughout the year. We strive for 2018 to be another successful year with further expansion and growth.

Due to increased demand, we have invested in our premises, expanding and adapting several areas across the site. This includes a new solids and liquids pack down area, a purpose built NVP laboratory, an external flammable storage unit and a new racking and storage area to hold stock for our customers.

We are the sole UK distributor for the Archroma Brand and Performance Textiles Specialities Division. This agreement will see Vickers distributing specialist chemicals for the pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and finishing of textiles. It is set to open up the company to new markets as the sole UK distributorship expands the product offering provided by Vickers Laboratories.

We would like to welcome and celebrate our ever expanding team. We have Andrew our Textiles Sales Manager, Tom our Laboratory Technician, Emilie our Customer Service and Sales Advisor, John our new Shift Production Supervisor. Our Operations team has expanded considerably with Doug, Glen, Tony, Kerry, Marcus, Malwina and Jake. A big thank you to everybody for all their hard work this year.
