Vickers Round-up 2025

As we reflect on the past year at Vickers, it’s clear that 2025 has been a period of significant progress, growth, and investment in our future.

Following our acquisition by Calibre Scientific, we have continued to build momentum and expand our production capabilities. This has strengthened our foundations and enabled us to accelerate key developments across the business. A major milestone came in October, when we proudly unveiled our new, purpose-built manufacturing suite. Designed to support the next phase of growth at Vickers, this state-of-the-art facility is now fully operational and ready to accommodate new vessels. It also enables us to manufacture a broader and more diverse range of chemical solutions, ensuring we are well positioned to meet evolving customer needs.

Growth has not been limited to our facilities alone. This year, we were delighted to welcome several new members to the Vickers team. Adam joined us in Dispatch, Ling began a new role in our Quality department, while Michell came on board in Purchasing and Michelle joined the Customer Service Team. Each brings valuable skills and experience, helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect. We have also enjoyed hosting numerous work experience students, giving them the opportunity to develop new skills and gain insight into the chemical manufacturing industry. An initiative we are proud to support.

Sustainability remains a core focus for Vickers. We are pleased to have maintained our Bronze EcoVadis award for 2025, reflecting our continued commitment to responsible operations. This year, we installed smart meters across multiple sites to better monitor and manage energy consumption, added eDeliver vehicles to our fleet, and ensured that 85% of our energy now comes from renewable sources, with 15% generated by our own solar panels.
